My freaking heater core went out today. And I was just looking at the online repair manual to see about replacing it. That damn thing is talking about removing the whole damn dashboard!!! Somebody please tell me it's another way to do this.

No matter what it`s gonna be a pain in the ***. For now you can bypass it so it doesn`t leak all over your car. Look at a Haynes or Chiltonsrepair manual to get an idea on what needs to be done or do a google search.

yea man its a pita... I had to replace mine not too long ago.. It took me and a friend about 5 hours with us bs'in.. You have to remove the dash and everything and there are a couple of bolts that the manual doesnt talk about... Since it shouldnt be getting any colder, if you can stand it, i would just pull both hoses off the heater core and hook em together.. you can buy the stuff from advance or whatever pretty cheap and just bypass it for now.. If youhave the time and patience though.. its not that hard of job.. will probably need someone to help though..
