Broken motor mount

Default Broken motor mount

Hey all, well I figured out that my motor mount was broken. Just curious as to how much its gonna cost to fix?? Stangs a 96GT. Thanks in advance.

Part is only $30 or so.... To have someone else install it is going to be a botach!

Just jack your motor up, unbolt the other side and replace!

Ya, i did mine not too long ago, it was a pain in the ****!! i think the mount was somthn like 36 though.

Depending on what side is gonna tell you how hard it will be to change. I put solid motor mounts in mine a month ago. The driver side wasn't too bad you had to jack the engine up some and pry the motor over. Slipped right out from the back of the motor. On the passenger side it was a bitch. I couldn't get the third starter bolt out. I had to remove the AC and take that motor mount out from the front. While you are doing it you might just want to change out both cause if one is bad that usually creates shifting in the motor. Which in turn makes the other motor mount seperate or crack too.
