+1 you don't have a Cobra T45 if it bolted right up and you didn't have to change anything. Trust me I have a POS Cobra T45 in my garage that did not just bolt right up[:@]

You must have got the tranny from a junkyard or something. If it bolted right in without swaping tail housings then it's not a cobra tranny, it's a gt tranny.

Having first hand expereince on this, the gt t45 and the cobra t45 are the SAME transmission with the exception of the tailshaft (which contains your mechanical speedo gear which would explain ur speedo being off) and also the mountaing location is DIFFERENT, so it couldn't of just bolted up, but with the mountaining location and the tailshaft its the same tranny so you didnt get and benefit from going to a "cobra t-45" except for a broken speedo.

I got a cobra trans because the person told me it would fit, I had to end up shipping it to someone else (for sale) and buy a GT specific trans.
