Default blacking out panel

any advice? i just tinted my tail lights and i need to black out the panel. i dont like the honeycomb one. for those who have painted it themselves give me some advice please.


i plan on taking it in the house, got a green scruffypad, and a can of spray paint. im a good spray painter. so thats no big deal.

just need a few tips at how you guys did it.

I painted mine. I got lucky cause I worked at a body shop at the time, so I was able to use a gun and a booth. But if your gonna do it at home, buy the blue fine line tape to make the edges. You can use the green or maroon scuff pads. I would sand it with 150 grit first though. Then paint it and find either a semi gloss or gloss clear to spray over it to protect it. I shot mine in semi gloss with a semi gloss clear and it looks nice...hope this helps
