im lost here, i got a vortec and and i supposed to change some oil i didnt know about? i do have a line tapped into the oil pan if that means anything.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but for all of you guys with a SC blower. If you were to buy one again would you tap the oil pan or still go SC?

No... i'm not opposed to a vortech at all though. The oil wasnt an issue with me either way. Reason I wanted a procharger was because of the intercooler.

I mean seriously, 30 minutes to change it probably... twice a year. Not a big deal.

No... prochargers do not use the engine oil, they have their own system. Vortechs use the engine oil.
