yeah when I changed mine I got underneath the car and used a long extension (24" or 2ft) with a 5/8 I believe socket and loosened it. Look at tho there is no clean way to do it with the blower still on the car. It is gonna spray everywhere. Be sure to wear eye protection... O and blower oil tastes yummy....[>:]

of course...just jack up the car and its a straight shot with a 3/8 drive w/long extension. I forget the drain plug size, i think its like 16mm or something. Take the plug out and go from there. Ive done it like that twice now.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but for all of you guys with a SC blower. If you were to buy one again would you tap the oil pan or still go SC?

How often does supercharger oil have to be changed?

I like the SC part of the blower. That's why I got a procharger instead of a vortec. Everyone that has one, I'm sure, knew that the oil had to be changed prior to buying the blower. Procharger and vortec are right there together on power output anyway so usually that's the deciding factor.
