best head and cam?

Default best head and cam?

What are the best head choice for a 2000 GT. Iam installing camsalso at the sametime. does anyone know a good choice of head not to expensive. and on the cam i dont want to have to install a stall converter. so i cant do a huge cam. what did you do? or think will be a good choice?I have $2500 to spend labor will be free. do it with my buddies a lilttle project.

I'd say just go with Patriot Heads and comp cams xe262ah cams. I know I'm going to get hype for putting Patriot down, whatever. Just do some research man.

For the kind of numbers your goin to make it would be cheaper to spend about 1500 more and buy a blower.

what do you think patriot stage 2 heads and a 262ah cam will make rwhp wise?

There is no such thing as a "cheap" set of heads for a 2v 4.6L (or any 4.6L lol).

patriot FTL, I have heard far far to many bad things about valveguide wear and oil usage. Might as well spend a few hundred more and get em from a company like VT etc.

I got the patriot stage II heads.. I am very happy with my decision. huge difference on performance.

Check out foxlakeracing.com I guess they have a stage III porting package nowthat flows around 240cfm @ .600 and 235 @ .550 When I get my heads done, thats where I'm sending them.
