Well my friend has a 95 z28. It has flowmasters and long tube headers. He might have one or 2 other small things also nothing big He claims to have beaten some ls1's in it. I have a 99 stock Gt. What will it take for me to beat him in the 1/4. Mine is a 5 speed his is auto.

Even with a couple power mods, he's still gonna eat you on the top end. Those things pull SO hard.

A 100 shot would clear that all up!

Drivers race but because he has an auto and you have a 5 speed you should > him.

that statement only works in the ford world. Those gm boys can build a pretty decent auto

u might need the same mods but u should take him if ur a good driver. and yea did the ls1's know what was going on. stock his car is a 14.1 and wit his mods a mid 13. thats what a stock ls1 runs.

With is mods I'm gonna say he might get you by a couple cars, but some exhaust, gears and a tune with put you > him.

yeah midpipe, cat back, 3.73's or 4.10's, and a tune and its yours all day long as long as you can get a nice jump off the line and hope he doesn't run your *** down near the end of the 1/4 mile
