Hey i have a 2004 mustang GT 5 speed with 20,000 miles and ive heard this wierd sound coming out
of my car. At first i though it was my MGW because i heard that its noisey. Then today i go through a drivetrough and hear what sounds like my engine knocking. Im like ohhhh ****. I had 3 of my coworkers that are light duty mechanics said it sounded like a lower rod bearing. Bascilly all im asking
is should i have a shop dig in it, or am i better of just trading it in. icant belive my car is already ****ed with just 20k miles.

04 with 20k miles? shouldn't you still be under factory warranty anyways??

have u owned it since new, need a little better description of the sound or a vid to make a good prediciton on what it could be

yes the warranty has been up since november.

hmm, well with the way video clips never do any justice on the comp I say ur safest bet is taking it to a trusted mechanic and hav him listen to it.

I wouldn't be surprised, my buddy that has an 03 GT 4.6 2V drives the **** out of his car. He has taken it in for two new short blocks, but they were both under warranty.
