Where can i get a good 160 t-stat for my 96 cobra?

you can get it from any auto parts store...they range from 5 bucks to 10. just the brand difference but they all do the same thing.

You can get them from Autozone or something but, I wouldnt go w/ a 160 degree stat. You will never get out of warmup mode and you will run rich. I have a 180 degree stat; that is about as low as I would go. It is still lower than the stock 195 degree one.

You can hurt your engine by putting in a 160. That is old school carb tricks it doesnt work for EFI.

Someone on here told me that your engine runs rich until it reaches like 170sumthing... So if you put a 160 degree thermostat its gonna run rich trying to get there. But if you put a 180 one in it reaches whatever that temperature was but still runs cooler... and thats why I got a 180 instead of a 160.
