Default Public Apology

Tonight I posted two questions; oneseekingadvice on rods and another needing advice about pistons. My finger slipped when I went to hit "Post" and one of them posted twice. All of my responses have been to criticize me for doing that. No answers to the questions. Hey, I'm 57 years old. Just raised six kids, the last in college. Now getting back into cars and love it. I have a 2V GT dailey driver that runs in the 11's. Just needed some help.....that's all. Sorry for offending anyone. I thought this was a forum to ask questions and get advice. After looking at it now for awhile, maybe I should just post things like "HEY, CHECK OUT MY NEW SHINY WHEELS!!" [sm=hail.gif]

Don't sweat it. Most of us haven't started families yet

Yea, dont you hate it when you ask a question and you get like 2 responses, then someone posts a NEW WHEEL POLL, and theres 9 pages. lol

Aftermarket forged rotating assemblies will come with GREAT quality parts. VT engines, Livernois, and tons of other places make great kits for a decent price.

I am running Probe pistons and Manley H beams.

You have gotten answers to both of your questions to the limit they can be answered with your provided information.

Saying "what compression pistoin do I need to run for 10 PSI" just isn't enough information.

What octane are you going to run? What top end setup? Are you going to forge the crank as well? How much (exactly) boost do you want to run? Daily driver? WHP you are looking for? etc etc etc.

That's not true. There was one website, that pointed you in a great direction to answer your question, it gave you a few options w/prices from a respected company. You just responded with "don't be a smartass".

You don't want to be criticized, but make a post like this? C'mon - you should know better then that.

I saw "Public Apology" and I thought "Wow I wonder what happened?"

I laughed when I saw that it was for making the same post twice. Now, I'm having trouble deciding what shiny wheels I should put on my car. Any suggestions fellas?
