Default Question about throttle body

ok stupid question. I was looking at getting a new throttle body since that seems to be just the right thing to do. I see everyone here post the throttle body and plenum. What the heck is a plenum. When i did a search for prices this setup runs around $400 and says it adds 10hp, but just a 70mm throttle body runs around $140 and also says adds 10hp

i could be completely wrong here but i have no idea. Confucius say man stand on toilet, high on pot

Plenum as upper plenum. It's a curved elbow that allows air into the engine in simple terms.
You'll feel a better throttle response when installed!

get teh 75mm tb and plenum....they are usually the same price as teh 70mm and from what i've read in most cases show bigger gains.

also, you guys may want to consider this....getting a cai, if you dont have one already. if you are getting a bigger throttle body and plenum to get more air into your engine, then upgrading the stock air intake would help out with doing this a great deal. its just something i thought of when i saw that throttle body and plenum kit that comes with pulleys. anyway...just my 2 cents, for what its worth.
