my buddy has a spec stage 2 in his 94 gt and likes it. I have one sitting in the spare room about to go in but sorry I wont be able to let you know about it before you change yours. he did mention that ones that thing grabs on it doesnt let go! which is what I need because my stock clutch is on its last leg of drag racing after being punished by my s/c on drag radials doing burnouts and launching lol. just doesnt catch quite like she used to.

I had the Centerforce Dual Friction and I can honestly say it was softer pedal than stock and engagement was the ****. Super smooth! I was driving down the road going down hill around a corner and was coasting in 3rd gear. I wanted to shift into 4th to ease up on the rpms of the motor, well I accidentally put it in 2nd while I was drinkin my chocalate shake from Stewart's and the car screeched sideways instantly. No chatter, no slipping, no noise, absolute joy in my pants after it happened! It's the kind of thing you cannot immitate again! Kinda like walking down a sidewalk at night and stepping off the cub not realizing it's there and feel like your falling 100 feet but only 6inches! A heart stopper...lol
The centerforce 1 is a little up from stock. The Centerforce II is a little more than the King Cobra but has a stiff pedal like the Cobra. The Dual Friction is the bomb with 90% holding over stock and a patented rollerball clutch actin to make pedal effort super easy, but it's $400 with a new throwout bearing???? I bought the Hays set-up from Jegs for $250 with T/O bearing and alignment tool. No pilot however. The pedal feel is softer than stock although I have not started the car to feel engagement

the kit comes with a 8 bolt flywheel, now if you have a 8 bolt crank, you can use it, however, i have six bolt, i went with having my orig flywheel resurfaced, since she only had 40k on it anyways, do not however buy the nodular iron 6bolt from frpp as it will not fit, i know cause i bought one thinking it would. Down's ford in NJ had it for the cheapest price around, much lower than summit had it for , i had the car back for 4 days, so i am still breaking her in, but it feels great, the centerforce i had needed two people to push it in, this one is like there is nothing at all---feels great

i really don't get it. the spec stage 3 in my car doesn't feel much different than stock. it's seriously just a little bit harder to push down. it did chatter, but that went away. OE maybe?

look into the stage + series too. the stage 3+ is supposed to be really good for daily driving, but still able to hold a shat load of torque.
