Dumped my flows today
Well I was hanging out at this guys exhaust shop today shoting some sh*t, and I just was like hey.. lets dump my flows and see what they sound like.. well about 20 min later it was done.. The car is about half as loud.!?!?!?!?!. I thought it was going to be louder than it already was.... It totally freaked me out when I started it and it was quiet!!!!! It has twice as deep as a tone though.. man it sounds freaking good!!!.. There might be acouple of us messing around tomorrow doing some filming... Hopefully we will have a nice video tomorrow sometime. man it sounds so freaking good driving around, it just rumbels...

I so wanna get my o/r h-pipe and 1 chambered Flows dumped, but I dont know how its gonna sound. If you can get up the video that would be sweet, oh and how much did it cost?

My magnas got ALOT louder at idle, louder at WOT, and its louder both outside and inside the car.
Its strange that it got quieter. Did he use the same size pipping? Were you running really big diameter tips on the back before?

The tips, and espcially the size of the pipping after the muffler make a huge difference. People don't see why they need an aftercat rather than weld ins if it doesn't make any power... until they put em on and hear the sound

I went from flows to magnas, but it made a huge diff on my car going from a weld in to a catback, espcially since it replaces the pipping from the midpipe to the muffler as well as the muffler back pipping. make sure you do both.
On my 88 bird, I tried glasspacks (5.0L) with no tailpipes and it was insanely loud. After putting the pippes back on it barely made any more noise than before.
