Not having ABS or traction control means you have a real car and, as long as you know how the really drive, a better car... I have the t/c disabled on my '03 GT and have never had the ABS kick-in, you won't if you know how to brake properly.
Haha, I've never slid either. I've hit the brakes really damn hard but not enough to lock em up. It all just comes with knowing how well your car can brake before locking up the tires. I'd kill my car if I had TCS (or just get a tuner).

In 04 TC and ABS was an option, I got flat spots on my front tires to prove it. End of topic!
