Default Dolp...idk the octane....

Well, as some of you may know, I am moving to Alaska in a few monthes. I am also tuned for 93 octane here in PA. When I was up there, all I saw was 90 octane as the highest so today, I called some Alaskan businesses to try to find out where I could get 93.......Here is what I got....

1. Ford dealership(Ford GT runs on premium...) ring, ring, ring, ring.....no answer(about 1:15pm there time)
2. Chevy dealership(Z06)- "Hello?"
"Hi, I am looking for the highest octane gas in the area, do you know what that is???"
"Let me transfer you to sales...."
"(announcer voice)Hello, please take this brief survey on your experience"
Answering stupid satisfaction survey
"Thank-you, good bye..." Hangs up on me......
3. Pontiac dealership- "Hello"
"...looking for highest oct...."
" Transfer to service..."
"Hello...."
"Hey, ahh hold on.....-Bill!!! Do you know what we can get as far as octane????- Comes back....ahh somewhere between 90 and 94..."
"Thanks a lot, Have a nice day.."

Now, I decide to look up gas stations on Yahoo. SURELY, they should know what they sell right......Wait, and find out.....

Gas station 1- "Hi, I am looking for octane......yada yada yada..."
"ahhh, Im not really sure what you mean. Let me go ask....."
(Comes back)" We have 87..."
"Thanks a lot, have a nice day."
Gas station 2- "Hi, I am looking for octane....yada, yada...."
"I dont really know. Let me find out......Larry!!! Do you know what we have.....(To me)We have either 90 or 93, idk."
"Ok......(Which one, this is why I called!!!)"
"Ok, let me go check. We have them listed on our pumps.......ah, looks like 90 octane."
"Thanks, have a nice day."
Gas station 3- "Hi, I am looking for octane....yada....etc...."
"We dont sell gas here."
"Ahhh(confused since I thought it was a gas station), ok."
"I can tell you that everyone on the pennisula gets the same stuff. It should be the premium. Good luck. I dont have your answer but, they should all be the same."
"Thank-you. Bye."
Gas station 4- Hi, I am looking for octane...yada...etc...."
"V-power."
"I am actually, looking for the highest octane."
"Hold on,...........$2.65/gallon...."
"Thanks a lot. Have a nice day."

So, there you go. I dont know what to think. The highest that I have seen was 90 octane so I am thinking that I will need a new tune. I hope I can get this taken care of. Srry, for the long post but, I thought my headaches in dealing with these people would be worth something for your entertainment.

or use a lot of octane booster...like a half a can for every tank of gas...that would probably get pretty expensive tho lol
