Default Engine!!! "Need opinions"

Hi guys,

Last week after checking every thing that would make that bad noise in my engine, we found that my crank bearing is F***ed up[:@]...

so i need ur opinions and advices to what to do.
Do i swap to 4v? Or getstroker block? or rebuild my old block with forged internals? or just forget about all of that and get aused block from some where?

Note: Old engine had 87,000 mile.

I like alot of things about the 4v's engines. The only thing I don't like is that if you don't have an endless budget, it gets really pricey to upgrade or even buy stuff for it.

I can't help with which route you should go with, but what sound was your engine making? My is making weird sounds but I'm at 60,000 miles.

the sound started very low like a liter ticking sound, and ended up now like some one is hiting a metal plate with a hammer.

I like the rebuild option. It seems cheapest and with forged internals you can boost it later.

I would stroke it and go with forged internals. A 4v swap seems expensive to me, however would bw worth it in the long run. Since you engine is already broke i think it would be a good time to do some needed stuff to it.

LOL mine went at under 20,000 miles.
What kind of budget you have to work with is what is going to make the decision for you.
