What would you guys choose and why? I know cost is close.

Wtf?? How is the cost of a 04 Gt even close to an 04+ vette?! Only way is it would even be a choice really is a REALLY nice Gt ( say 16-18k), even then the only vettes (say pre 01) your going to find are older ones with high *** mileage. So in less you found just a bad *** deal on a late 90's model or up I'd probly go with a really nice vert.

I stated 93 -96 vette C4 is the model style not 04 the current vette is called the C6!

No, actually you state 93-06 vette look at your title so I assumed you ment C4 and C5 models. In that case it makes the choice simple as hell C4 vettes suck *** go with the Gt.

i would go with the stang hands down. you can mod the stang a lot cheaper (i would assume) than the vette, and it wouldnt take much to outperform it. although a vette is a vette, i still say stang hands down, especially if its a vert

i have a 04 GT... and i wouldnt trade it for anything in the world.. it took me 3 months to decide what i wanted... and then i saw this car and fell in love... the way i see it.. if your going to spend the same money.. a newer GT is ALOT nicer and and mid 90's vette. just my .02

If you can find a 6speed 96 Corvette, grab it. All 6speeds in that year came with the LT4 which pumps out 330hp. I test drove one a few years ago and it felt way stronger than my C5 that I used to have.

I would keep your stang you will never be happy. Unless you go with newer style '02-03' but you will have to pony up 10-12K. It's all about the 'hunt'....

04 GT HANDS DOWN! I actually thought about this for a min before I bought my car and realized how crappy those c4s are. The 04 gt is a lot nicer car, rides better wont take much to outperform it eithe
