With the P.I swap...should I worry about injectors?

Default With the P.I swap...should I worry about injectors?

When I do the P.I. Swap....should I swap out injectors? Or just leave it alone til SC'ed times comes??

Yeah, you're not changing anything that will need the fuel system upgraded, you're just letting it breathe better. The engine is getting plenty of gas, it's just not being able to flow everything like it should.

My only question is how much horsepower will you be putting out? Are the heads going to be ported? Cams? Bolt-ons? You may have to upgrade.

I really don't even know that you'd need anything no matter what porting you do. You're not increasing capacity or adding FI or anything, you're just making it all flow better. Maybe if you have some other things done it might be time for an upgrade anyway, but not just from a H/C/I swap.

Think about it??? The 99-02 GT's had 19lb'ers! They upgrade to 22lb in 03 I bvelieve, but not 100% sure. I do know the came with pink toppers which is 22lbers! I would keep the 19's unless you were going cams and headers, then get 22lb'ers 24's may be a little much for those minor mods! 1psi per injector supports 16hp! 19psi=304hp You'll only be at 275 topps at flywheel with pi swap on non-pi
