Default Installing Fog Lights

Ok my friend just ordered clear fog lights from American Muscle and we are putting them on his GT tomorrow. We checked it out today and it looks really hard. I am also planning on getting a pair for my car so I would like to know if anyone installed them and how they did it?

P.S. Also any chin spoiler advice would help too. Looks easy but might as well ask now.

It`s pretty easy. Here are some hopefully helpful pics. These are from the driver side.

Ah ok. We just checked it real quick and figured it would be harder then we thought. He is doesn't wanna scratch up his Performance Red so it will prolly take him a while.

Also can you get to those bottom screws from the bottom of the bumper?

also, for the chin spoiler. i didnt trust those plastic clips, so i went and got some sheet metal screws w/ some washers, and it holds insanely well. might wana think of doing that too.

changing the fog lights/brackets is super easy to do.

as soon as you jack up the car you will see that

it's only a couple of bolts

I have mine ordered, and I think I am gonna stick with those plastic clips. The way I see it, if I hit something with that spoiler on, the clips will give way before metal screws, which may save me a very expensive bumper. My car is stock height, and I can already tell that when I stick that spoiler on, I will be pushing it clearance wise around here.

Alright, sweet. Thanks guys. I am going over his house now to put the fog lights and chin spoiler on. I'm going to grab a couple of sheet metal screws from my garage just incase.

I just noticed the Tiawan lettering on the back of those lights ( as in "made in Tiawan" ). On my `00GT, I had the tail light assembly out, & it has "Japan" molded into the back of the housing. I wonder how many other "outsourced" parts are in our " American " cars
