Default 75mm Throttle Body

Will I see a definite improvement in throttle response and a slight horsepower gain if I install a 75mm throttle body on my 04 GT? I am thinking of the BBK. Thanks!

you cant just install the tb and expect a gain, youll have to do the plenum as well and the CAI, to actually feel the diff throttle response. and then when you get a tuner youll guarenteed feel the diff! or at least i did?

yup...i agree. if you are going to get a throttle body, then you should aslo get the plenum...a lot of sites sell throttle body and plenum combos. hopefully you already have a cai, or atleast a k&n with the silencer removed.

You'll feel better throttle response with the above stated setup (T/B and plenum) but you don't need a tune!

Thanks for all the info! I already have the K&N CAI and will definitely go with the combo.

I just removed my air silencer. I feel the gain and my power/whole shots (not power brake shots)aresoooooo muchbetter. But that's enough of that; in 6 mths I'll need new tires [&:]

What is the stock size of the throttle body?

Now I want the combo Combo # 5[8D]with gains

I was going to go for the tb/plenum combo but I like the looks of the running mustang logo on the stock one
Also, I can see where the tb would make a difference, but there is really nothing to the plenum that I can see which would make
any difference??

Maybe it's smoother inside or polished giving better air flow?
I dunno?

Anyone who has looked at the stock plenum next to say a BBK or Accufab (the one I am looking at) care to comment?
What differences do you see inside and why would they make a difference in performance?
