Tire Sizes
 

Hi guys, I was wondering what size rear tires I should get to go on my 02 gt, It has 4.10s and I have 18in rims, right now I have 245/40/18... What size are you guys running and why?

245/35/18's and 275/35/18's would of gone bigger but the tires were much more expensive and they weighed more...

The highest tire size i have herd on a mustang yet are 355's. I went with Roush's specs which is 295's rear, since their cars handle very well. Keep in mind the more the tire, the more the muscle you will need to move them for a better time.:).http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...647_5_full.jpg

Knowing the width of your rims would really help here....

8 inch - 245 to 275. I personally wouldn't go any wider than 255 here.
9 inch - 265 to 285.
10 inch - 285 to 315.

If you don'
t have staggered wheels I would reccomend 255/40/18 all around or if you have stagerd 9" up front and 10" out back then get 245/40/18 for the front and 275/35/18 out back. It's a cheap enough set-up and looks good at the same time! If you have the money kickin around then I would def. get 295's for the rear! I wouldn't go wider because you sacrifice handling!

Forget the tires, What's up with that giant RICE WING dude? Along with the funky "G Track" B.S.

I have 18x10s, and am running 295/35's.

9 inch go 265 or 275/35 and 10 inch 285 or 295. Trust me....

G-Track BS? Im not an imposter........I do have the Steeda stage 1,2, and 3 G-Track suspension installed. :)
