Default Stage 8 locking header bolts

Are they worth it to buy for my LT install next week?? I also ditched those crappy BBK gaskets and went with some Percey's XX Carbon.

I threw the header bolts away and used the factory studs. They come with locking nuts from the factory that hold the manifolds on. They've been on there for almost two years and I've never blown the gaskets that came with the BBK lt headers. Header bolts tend to back out but the factory nuts will not back off the studs and it makes for a very easy install having the studs to put the gaskets and slide the headers on. You already have them so it doesn't cost anything, will never back off and makes for an easier install than using bolts.

just make sure you use antiseize so the bolts dont gull up in the heads. Other then that, your good to go. And since they lock, it is impossible for them to back out...

cool. I'll be installing them this weekend on my buddies lift. Anything else besides a case of beer that I should get? As much as I don't want to, I'm going to try to do this without dropping the K member......I'm sure about halfway through after my knuckles are covered in blood I'll want to drop it..
