Automatic Tranny Help QUICK!!!!!!!!
I took the Pan off my auto tranny to change the fluid and this part was rolling around in the pan, what is it? And where does it go? This is a 2002 Mustang GT btw

It's trash, that is the plug that is in the dipstick hole at the factory, when they put the dipstick in the plug pops into the oil pan. Don't worry about it, just leave it out.

What kind of oil are you switching to? Is there a certain time you should change the tranny oil? My dad has always told me never to change it...
