Default 96 GT rear end question

How do I get the C-clips out that are holding the axles in place inside the differential? Any help would be very useful.

hmm I remember watching them do this on hotrod tv to an older Chevy something or another... I wish I could remember exactly how they did it myself.

Wow, this is easy. Im suprised no one else has replyed yet. Well, i dont know why youre removing the c-clips or what youre doing so i dont know what you have done yet. But say you havent done anything yet. Remove youre diff cover, let the fluid drain. Then remove youre wheels and calipers. Then remove youre ABS sensors. Then remove the 8mm bolt that goes through the carrier. Then take that out and then push in on youre axles ( twords the center of youre carrier ) and the c-clips will fall right out. AND 2000si, when did you go out with the trash and in with the Cobra??
