Default Side scoop removal....

I have a question.... I need to remove the side scoops and replace them, but I am not sure how they come off! I was thinking you had to take off the pannels by the rear seats... but looking at the side scoop that got torn off by the ***** who ran into me, I don't think that is the way anymore! Anybody ever takin these damn usless things off before??

Just pull. [8D]
they were popped in... and must be pulled out... this calls for damage to the fasteners, so they'll have to be replaced... but you just yank 'em off.

If you do it carefully from each of the corners there is no need to replace the fasteners even though it would help a little.

Or you could do like this kid I worked with who drives a 06 Mustang. He goes to park next to me like always, his hand slips off the steering wheel and the corner of his car landed directly on my drivers side sidescoop.

Needless to say, he payed $116 for me a new one from the local Ford dealer before I started working there
