Default More Speed

Hey... I have a 2005 GT... ive modded my GT in terms of looks as much as I want.

Lowered 3 inches,
Full Brembo braking system cross drilled/slotted
Borla exhaust
Xeon headlights
Shaker Hood system
18 inch bullet rims

Im now looking to push more under the hood. I was thinking of dropping a kenne bell supercharger pushing 6 pounds.. but that would be too costly right now. What can I do right now that would give me more power? Im looking at changing my intake to a K&N Cold Air or BBK Cold Air? I need some advise from someone whos been through it or knows whats best.

Let me know... Thanks!

You'd get some better responses over in the 05+ section. Theywould be a little more knoweledgeableon your car than we would.

But there are a few basic bolt ons you could do to add more power.

And intake is a start. I recommend JLT. It's the best Intake you can buy. With an intake you should get a tune. These are two basic mods that really wake the 05 GT up. Brenspeed.com offers good deals on these two together. One of my close friends has an 05 GT with Axle back, and X pipe,JLT intake and a tune. He said the intake and tune weremost noticeable and definitely woke the car up more than the exhaust.

Then of coure you could get exhaust and a mid pipe. These are the 4most simple simple bolt ons and would give you some more power you could feel.

Man with all the crap that goes on with the little nickle and dime ya to death mods. If I could do this all over I would so go with a S/C system and gears first. If you can afford it .... DO like nike and just do it!!
