Code, Do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulater? What size injectors and what is the fuel pressure set at. My buddy had the same problem with his Trans Am and we figured out that he was running to high of fuel pressure for his injectors.
I am not a fan of an adj fuel regulator. I run 30# injectors and my fuel pressure sits at about 38psi at idle and 50-58 psi at WOT.

That sounds a bit high. My friend was running 42# injectors and we set his fuel pressure at 43 with the vacum off which dropped to 40 once the vacum was reconnected. It fixed his problem.
