How can I stop my BBK CAI from making that whistling noice at around 3K RPMs?

BTW, I don't care if you like your whistling great for you. However I hate it, and it makes the car look cheap when someone is riding in it. I would just like to know how to fix it.

Edit- Not trying to be mean, but most people are like "Dude the whistling is cool man" and thats all the put forth to the post. BTW, I do not have stock Intake.

check all your connections make sure theres nothing hanging out inside of the intake tube, that would be a good start. at least thats where i'd start

it shouldnt be whistling really loud.
i have one, and i can only hear it when i shift.
do you have a high flow filter on? like a k&n??

All CAI's make that whistling/sucking sound, only way to "fix" it is to put the stock airbox and silencer back on.

Yea bro, it's gonna make that sound regardless. If you don't want noises or other changes to occur to your car, I'm pretty sure you should stop modding it. You're in the wrong hobby if these things bother you.

If you would have bought a cobra stock from the dealer with a blower, would you think it was cheap because of the whine that it made?
