Default OD button and Fog Light Switch

Ok so we were on a roll yesterday as far as tearing stuff up. WE were doing a bung of minor repairs on my car and ran into a coupld of problems. First off we were changing the shirter plate, and had to take the **** off. My B/F accidentally broke the two OD wires off in the handle, so for now i can't use my OD. Is there a way to open the handle up to re-wire it. Or if i buy a new handle with the OD button from UPR will it have a new set of OD wires with it.

Ok and second we pulled out the Foglight switch to re wire it to work independently. Well the two pieces came apart and i can't get it back together. Has anyone taken the switch apart and remember how to get it together?

I don't know about your year of car, but for my '02 I just popped out the foglightoverriderelay from the underhood panel & busted off one of tabs & stuck the relay back in. Took about 30 seconds to do lol

well this was supposed to be pretty easy too, but when i pulled the switch out the bottom square piece (the part with the harness in it), came apart from the top square piece(with the button in it) And now i canfigure out how to get it all back together and make it work, there's little pieces in the inside that i can't get right.

Im not sure about the way its all wired together , but if you do need to buy new parts like that this is the place to go http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/

They'll have your OD button and anything else you can think of.

yea on my old auto stang my wires got ripped too. I just popped the button out and bought some wire from murrays and soldered it back together and it worked fine. as far as the fog lights i just did the convertible top method, i dunno if you can do it or not since u have an actual convertible, but i imagine you may be able to tap into it.
