changing MAF on non-PI GT

changing MAF on non-PI GT
Is it worth getting a bigger MAF on a non-PI gt? I've been reading that the stocker MAF flows plenty for the non-PI heads and putting a bigger one in replace of it won't do all that much...

RE: changing MAF on non-PI GT
a bigger MAF allows more airflow, more airflow is a good thing, yeah it helps non-PI heads im not so sure of, if you do want to buy a bigger MAF port out the one you got, i did and it was good for an honest 1/10 pick up in the 1/4.

I tried to PM you but it said it was disabled and couldn't accept it. So I'll retype what I just did. What a pain in the ****.
I don't have extensive testing yet cuz of the weather. It's suppose to be nice out on Thursday so maybe then. I installed the twin 65mm throttle body as well and I haven't yet noticed any real difference. I know the throttle body is more for s/c or tt engines, but I got it at a great deal. The throttle body was a pain cuz of the screws that hold in the PS sensor. They didn't want to come off. I guess they're a real pain from what I hear. I had to drill off the heads of the screws and then take the PS sensor and screw it into the new throttle body. But like I said before no real notice yet. It's kind of wet out here right now so hopefully in a couple of days. I see that you're looking to do exhaust. IMO I would do the exhaust. It should be pretty close to the same price. At least cat back is. Maybe 50 bucks more. Mine cost $350 for Magnaflow cat-back. If you want to wait till Thursday or Friday then I'll let you know more. This is just my opinion though.
