Circuit board in speedo cluster?
Which part of the gauge cluster do I have to keep in order for my car to keep starting? I know that you have to switch the odometer, but what about the actualy circuit board. Could I switch the circuit board from another cluster into my car and still start my car or will I have to have it programmed to my car by the stealership.

RE: Circuit board in speedo cluster?
Hello, i've already tried to switch circuit board and start my car, but pats kicks in and I cant start the car. So I switched back to my circuit board that came with car. Only the dealership can override the pats or get a tuner.

If you are switching a cluster, the circuit that you need to keep that came with your car is in the back. There are about 6 hex screws that hold in the white covering, you take those out and unplug the circuit and the circuit pulls right off. I believe if you want to use a different PCM from a different car, you'll need the dealership to program your key to it.
