i dont think they will bring the trans am back.. they are trying to go for the "heritage" crowd the GTO i think would be more marketable, but i dunno after the last flop of the car.

Theyre talking about it and designs and protypes have been made. Its based on the same platform as the camaro just some subtle differences. You can read all about it on ls1tech. I think it looks better than the camaro even though there are only modest differences. The rumored GTO looks killer though.

its hard uncle owns a Dodge dealership so i can mod the car all i want and wont loss my warranty also heard that the new challenger SRT-8 is going to have 550Hp N/A and the new camero's are going have an optional 6.2L(ZO6 SS motor) S/C 550Hp

Sorry to burst your bubble, but the rumor is, is that the challenger will (somehow) be heavier then the Charger... It will be a formidable car, but it's suppose to have the same engine options as the charger w/the same weight.

Edit: but the car does look sick.
