lower with 18s all around
Would there be any problems if I lowered the front 2.0in and the back 1.8in with 18s 18x10 deep dish in the back and 18x9 in the front? Would I need a camber kit? What if they were 17s with the same amount lowered, would I still need a camber kit.?

Yes you would need camber kit for either set up. lowering at all pretty much requires one. Now if we could just find 2" drop spindles for these cars, that's all you'd have to replace then.

most people are cheap and do not want to pay for a c/c kit, and others are lucky to have their front suspension geometry set up well enough to not require one. The first group of people that do not buy the c/c kits when they lower their stang will experience quicker tire wear on either the inner portion or the outer portions of their tires, thus ending up being more expensive. When lowering your car by that much you should also look into shocks/struts because your stockers will give way soon enough. And last but not least, you will not have a problem with lowering the car that much, if you do it's not because of the rims, it will be due to tire choice. Depending on how low the rear is and how wide your rear tires are you may wanna look into rolling your fenders, if not, too wide a tire with too low a rear = shredded tires. And believe me, its not fun when you go over a bump/pothole at 35 and both your rear tires are popped at te same time. Had that happen on my old v6 with a 2.5" drop all around.

003trublugt315 lowered his 1.5 and you can see the tires leaning in on the top. Guess what his next purchase is going to be?

Hold off on the C&C Plates.
First, after lowering get an alignment. If the shop says you are within spec, you are good to go. If they say you are out of spec, you will need the C&C Plates to allow the shop to make additional adjustments to get your alignment back into spec.
Those who say "You need C&C when you drop your car" are simply wrong. You need C&C plates when a dropped car can't be aligned to within specs.

Don't forget that without a C/C plate your struts don't have their full range of travel. I don't see the point of dropping a car for looks and losing some performance. Since you're spending money spend the extra 189.99 and get the performance you paid for on the struts/springs. C/C plates are not just for alignment...
