what is a pi swap?

RE: what is a pi swap?
96-98 2 valve mustangs had lower compression motors as well as heada that flowed less, 99-04 gt's have pi motors the heads flow somewhat better (not by much) and the compression is higher, as well as a hotter cam and revised intake..
A pi swap it converting a non pi motor to a pi motor, heads, cams, valves, intake

NOT TRUE!!!! The 96-98's has an 11cc dish piston with a 52cc head making the same compression as the 99+ mustangs with an 17cc piston and 42cc chambered heads! You only get raises in compression when you put PI Heads from a 99+ onto a 96-98 mustang because the cc chamber in the head is smaller! Get your facts straight and don't answer something you don't have a clue about

+1
Also, the PI heads ARE superior by quite a bit, regardless of some opinions on here.
No doubt you can make stock PI power levels with NPI heads, aftermarket cams, and a PI intake, but its going to make more power with the PI heads and a aftermarket cam.
