*UPDATE*Trying to install H pipe AAAGAIN!!!*UPDATE*
So now that I have the weekend I will be attempting to install it again. I have it on jack stands right now and sprayed the bolts once again and the socket still doesn't fit. Here are some pics of exactly what I am talking about. Now this is a 15mm and i just don't understand why it won't fit??!!

RE: Trying to install H pipe AAAGAIN!!!
try getting your hand up in there if it will fit, and putting the socket on by hand, if that doesnt work try using a shallower socket, also try other non metric sizes or a 16, but make sure it fits snug

RE: Trying to install H pipe AAAGAIN!!!
I have tried ever socket that I have and and none fit even thoughthat is the onlymetricdeep socket that I have. No non metrics fit and the shallow sockets metric socketsare not deep enough. I guess I have the only car ever made with a unfittable nut. I am running out of options. Any other ideas guys??

RE: Trying to install H pipe AAAGAIN!!!
If it was smaller than a 15mm nut then my 15mm socket would fit right over it. It has to be bigger than a 15mm. I am pretty sure that I have gotten all the corrosion of the nut so it might still be a 15mm but all the corrosion is on there that I have no idea how to get off. I wish I had a 16mm socket hopefully when my nieghbor gets home he will have one, or i will have to buy one.

I forgot to say but I actually have one of those gator grips but don't you think that is virtually impossible to turn that nut by hand with a gator grip?? [&:] But hell I'll go give it a try right now.

Here is my advice. You wont be reusing it, so cut it off. =P
As for the socket size situation, just try american and metric until it fits properly, if you dont have one that fits then use an adjustable wrench and a hammer to get it loose then use the closest socket size to get it the rest of the way out.
