Default does gear whine= death to my rear end?

well ive had it since i got my 3.73s installed. it only does it when i barely give it any gas in 5th or in 4th at lower rpms, or it does it when i let off abruptly, but its kind of a chattering sound like a clutch would make. its been almost a year and i feel like it might have gotten louder.....does this mean my rear end is on its way out? can i take it to a shop to have them look at my gears to see if they are wearing incorrectly and if theyre not mabye i can get them to reset the backlash? could the fact that i just installed some LCAs mabye make it louder bc the geometry of the suspension was changed? i dunno that last one was just a longshot guess dont so dont wreck too hard on me for it

sounds like someone screwed up the install, id go back to wherever you had them installed and make them take a look at it.

Chatter and whine are really two different symptoms.
Whine, is just that, a high pitched sound that generally occurs at certain speeds.
I get a slight whine on decel from 40mph to 30 mph which goes away if I step on the gas very slightly.
Some cars do it and others don't.

Chatter is exactly the way you describe it, kind of like a bad clutch.
Does it chatter if you make figure 8's at low speed?
If so, you might need a bottle of friction modifier put into the differential.

Personally, I would have them look at it because it shouldn't chatter at all.
