Default Shaken...but not Stirred.

Well the GT is now Shakin! I bought this kit a couple weeks back from Classic Design Concepts and started the install yesterday about 3pm- worked until 11 pm..., and finished it today from 11am -2pm so about 10-12 hours of labor. I have to say it was a HUGE PITFA to get the shaker tray aligned right. after making swiss cheese out of the thing with drill bits and dremel sanders I think it is now pretty close to centered. Im sorry but for what you pay for these things...they could at least have a better/easier mode of adjustment. Anyways I'm veyr happy with it now, and think it helped the exterior and under hood looks of the car. Anyways hope you like it!

i was never a fan of shaker hoods because on alot of them it looked stupid. but this is by far one of the more beautiful new edge's ive seen. is this a show car? could be.. love the color whats ur next mod going to be?

Nope- not one bit functional...but in all honesty the shaker hood hasn't been extremely functional since the 70 machs. When I had an 03 mach 1 I ended up just removing the inlet attachment because i thought it was but uglly. CDC actually does have a Supercharger conversion to make it the functional entry point for the blower's air...but i wasn't going to spend another 150-200 bucks for it. It does function in a small way by bringing in cooler fresh exterior air and cool off the engine bay when moving, as well as allowing hotter air to rise and exit while sitting still at idle. I really just did it for the cosmetic appeal.
