Weather stripping coming out...how to glue back?
 

Myweather strippingon the rear windshield is coming out....what can I buy from Pepboys/Autozone to get it glued back on? or do i need to get a whole new stripping?

Clean it out well with Q-tips and alcohol, then use black RTV adhesive sealant from your FLAPS...

I have the same problem with the rear weatherstripping on my 04GT. Tried 3M super weatherstripping adhesive and that did not last but a week. WIll the black RTV last? Thanks:)

Clean, clean, clean is the key--I used at least a dozen Q-tips (and alcohol) cleaning black gook out of the weatherstrip, and then cleaned it again 'til the Q-tips came out clean. Make sure the glass is clean too, doing this the black adhesive/sealant works great; mine is still stack quite well after 4 months.[/align][/align]If you don't get it clean nothing will work...[/align][/align][/align]
