Look up the different values on KBB or somewhere. Is the car in excellent, good, fair condition? Does the car have any othermods? Was it driven by an older or younger person? Just some questions to research in determining the car's value. It is hard to tell what to offer if we don't know what shape its in.

if this car is in excellent condition which means that the vehicle looks new, is in excellent mechanical condition and needs no reconditioning. This vehicle has never had any paint or body work and is free of rust. The vehicle has a clean title history and will pass a smog and safety inspection. The engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks and is free of any wear or visible defects. The vehicle also has complete and verifiable service records. Less than 5% of all used vehicles fall into this category. then it is worth $9,235 Good condition is $8620 so that price is definitely way too high. I got my figures here if you want to take a look. I put in for "Private Party Value"

The other question you might want to ask is what kind of mods were done. Depending on the mods can reflect on the value of the car. For example if it has a supercharger it could be a good thing for you But that depends on the Driver because it could have had the **** beat out of it. Or they could have babied it. Also the prices i gave you were for a cupe not convertible but you didnt list everything that was needed to get an exact value. well good luck
