Default got the nittos on, but have suspension ?'s

i got the 305/45r 18's and they are huge like hieght wise. they jack the rear end up and make the 18's on the front look like skinnies. it looks pretty mean. but i found out last night that it was lowered so i had put in some rubber blocks in the springs and bend the inner lip of the wheel well upwards so it didnt shred the tire everytime i hit a bump. so i think thats another reason im not getting any traction is because the car doesnt really squat at all when i get on it. but without heating them up i have noticed better traction. so do you have any suggestions on what i should do as far as suspension in the rear? should i just go to the junk yard and get some stock springs for dirt cheap? or is there a model that had better suspension for dragging than the 98's in general? thanks alot

Is there something wrong with the link you have under your sig? I thought maybe you had pix of the tires on. My rims come tomorrow and I was wondering how it looked on your car. I'm looking for those same exact tires. Where did you get yours and how much? Thanks!

well thats the first time it has not come up for me either, but no its just a picture of the car with the 18's with the 245/45's on them. well like i said it looks mean as hell cause its all jacked up in the rear and there is a serious amount of tire there for the 18's, but i think the 99's can fit even more wheel/tire in their wheel wells than the 98's can, so as long as yours is not lowered then you should not have any problem. well i researched for a while and i bought them for 240$ a piece and thats like 40$ cheaper a tire than any where else i saw and for smaller tires! so maybe if you can find a recommendation for my suspension then ill tell you where i bought em. haha j/k ill tell you where but just write back and ill find the site for them.

I wonder if my stock springs would work on your car. I'll just HAVE to buy new springs for my car. Ha Ha.

Does anyone know of any good winter tires? Stupid question but I occassionally will be stuck in light snow. I hope not to, but I can't fight the inevitable.
