I've had the MT ET Street Radials for almost 13,000 miles now.
Been down the track maybe 15-20 times, and done a couple burnouts on the road.
Depending on how you treat the tires, you can get decent mileage out of them.
As for the rain. It's not like you're just going to speed up to 40-50 mph and suddenly .. AAAAAAAaaaahhhh CRASH.....
once youre going youre okay.. acceleration can be slippery though.. especially on the right road surfaces.
I've never really came close to losing control thouhg unless I wanted to. I have hydoplaned a tiny bit one time at about 25-30 mph but it wasnt like I was scared for my life or the life of the car.
Like most circumstances, common sense and responsibility will keep you safe, even in the rain with MT's.

Gonna be taking them off for regular street tires soon though. I don't even know if I will be on my MT's for the MF Meet up in Milan. [>:]

I got caught in a "clearing off shower" the other day and had to park it and call my wife to come pick me up. I was fishtailing to and fro in every gear. MT's in the rain FTL!!! if you don't have traction control or it's shut off in your tune.
