Default 4-10 gear change

I am Still building my 98 Gt. The motor is back together, w/the nos, frame connectors, and safty strap for the drive shaft.
I am needing to change the gears, and suspension. Can you guys tell how hard it would be to change the gears myself. the shop
has had my stang for about 2 months now. [:@][:@]So I am now thinking about doing the gears myself or another shop.
Any help would be thankful.....oh almost forgot the nos is a wet system 175 shot. the motor is all forged lower end, 11-1 compression
pi head swap. could you also give any suggestion on a good suspension as well and maybe a good upgrade on the cams?
thanks alot guys. http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w.../Picture-2.jpg

I did the gear swap myself with a friend that's done it before. It wasn't too bad but took a while to get them set just right. I'd say you'd have to pretty well mechanically inclined to do them right. Do you plan on beefing up the rearend also?

you will need to upgrade your rear end with that power. you will never get traction either. but it is probably too hard. you have to get it shimmed perfectly so they don't whine.

are you saying he'll never get traction, even with a built rear and the right tires?

if you've never done a gear swap and you try it, make sure you have a friend that's done them before.

Have a shop do it. You'll need to get the mph calibrated and have it all programmed.
