Do chrome headers rust???

Not sure if they actually "rust" but after a couple months they will look like POO!! Go with ceramic for the best look always[8D]

A metalic property of chrome is that itdoesn't "rust"...the material that makes stainless steel "stainless" is chrome. Horror stories i've heard of chrome headers thoughis they heat up and the chrome plating flakes off, leaving bare metal headers, which will rust...and look ugly. While on the other hand stainless headers will blue-hue and discolor...coated headers or wrapped headers ([8D])keep color best

They flake off & then the steel underneath rusts. They are mostly for show cars.

ok, yeah i did read the other post, but i wanted to make shure because i thought chrome didnt rust. And no one gave me a clear answer on y. Thanks yall
