($500 budget power) PI intake and cams are installed!
Got the parts on it this weekend (PI Cams / Intake ). Kinda scared to drive it much yet, had to tap the plastic intake for the extra sensor and it leaks a touch of coolant, intake kinda seems like it might want to leak a little as well...add 2 new cams to the mix I'm hesitant to do much. Gonna drive it to workall this week and see how it does...sounds awesome and had some very noticable pep....did full throttle it once and it seemed to pull hard all the way to 6k...will get some 0-60 times soon, was 7.5 secs before.....it's a new beast...
The CEL did decide to come on tho.....after about 15 miles of cruising...not sure what's going on there...ran good.
Any thoughts??

Didnt get the pi heads because:
1) Cost
2) power gains are minimal
3) was able to replace cams from the valve covers without adjusting timing, took about an hour
more than just doing intake.
How come my PI intake didnt have an aluminum crossover? I thought the old npi intake was the only one without?

i see....sucks because my old npi one does have the crossover. I downgraded to an upgrade. How should i seal the sensor i tapped behind the thermostat?? I just put silicone tape on the threads, drilled ahole and screwed it in real tight....seeps a little
