Default Question on PI swap...

On the driver's side head, there is a sensor that lays on the inside of the head nearthe valley. It looks like a coolant temp sensor. Is that the second sensor for PI cars? Or is it a knock sensor? Do I need it to be plugged in?

I'm using the crossover from my NPI intake manifold. It's the updated Ford version, so it's the good one. I was going to use the two old sensors. What should I do, if anything, about the sensor on the side of the head? Thanks...

I was just told that it looks to be a set of 5.4 PI heads because they have an extra sensor. Anyone hear anything about that? Here's a picture of it:
