I just washed my car, and like always it reminded me of all the chips that are there. I would love to have a 2-3 inch cowl...how much would I expect to pay for getting the hood painted?

I'd have to save up for a bit[&o]

couple hundred to get it painted .. i wouldnt get a cowl hood unless u plan to supercharge your stang, they look stupid because nowadays the majority of people that have them do it for looks... cobra r hood looks better anyway

i have the same problem...my front is all chipped up...i got two estimates, both about $800...i could do alot of other stuff with the $800 though...hmmm

800 to paint a hood? thats bs it shouldnt be more than 3-400 at MAX.

This is a bolt on n/a car...I don't think it looks stupid! I wouldn't pay $800 for paint, I was really thinking $300-400 or so, plus about the same or a little more for the hood. I'll probably just have to wait anyway though. []

You too? Ford paint quality for the MFL! BAH that pisses me off so bad. The rest of the car is perfect but it looks like someone shook a pepper shaker over the hood lip area. I don't know if I could get away from the cool looks of a GT hood, maybe the Cobra hood could replace it, but no thanks on the Chevrolet Cowl look [:'(]

no...$800 to paint the hood, front fender and take some chips out of both the front right and left fenders

I just really don't like the Cobra R hoods...the 95's yes, the 00's, not so much...

the 01.5-04 hoodscoop on the gt is my fav hood..i think it looks better then the 03-04 cobra hood..and i guarntee u if it was functional all of u guys would think so 2.

yeah it looks great with a pointless cowl hood and 1 headlight. cobraR ftw. im still a believer in if you use a cowl hood, it should be NEEDED for clearance or to keep the engine cooler ie F/I its like posing.. you have a hood that serves a purpose, but not for you
