I did what your talking about on my stang two yrs ago and haven't touched it I noticed a diff and I liked it so I would say do it, its a "free" mod basically so its worth even if you just want to try it.

its fine i did it. but i took it off because i could not stand the sucking sound. i was so loud and annoying. i lasted 3 days. then my cel came on and i took it off and put it back to stock.
