Nothing against them, but i'm still convinced you should buy your sct/diablo from your tuner.

Most companies that dynotune offer you huge discounts on dynotime/tuning when you buy with them.

+1.They usuallygive good deals with the tuners. I wish I took that route. I actually bought my Xcal II from American Muscle as well. With the tune downloaded, I have a wierd noise coming from the engine that isn't there with the stock tune. I told them exactly what I have on the car, and I run 93 octane. I have emailed them a couple timesbut have yet to receive an email. After all the hypeI heard about them, I was disappointed as well as surprised. I am now planning on eventually taking my car to alocal dyno tuner, which is going to cost me$200-$300 dollars. If I had bought the Xcal II from them, the tune would only be another $100 or so PLUS you get more power out of it thana non-dyno tune.I could have saved $100-$200!

Speedydyno charges 175 per hour if you did not buy the xcal from them, they charge 125 per hour if you did. However they have their tuners priced at $389 and living in the same state as me I would have to pay tax on top of that. $412 er so is what it would cost to buy from them. If you only run the dyno for an hour... you've still saved 10 bucks er so

I agree that its not a bad idea to buy your tuner from whoever is going to tune your car. but for n/a applications that are not going to be on a dyno, there is really no since in paying more.
