Do you have a handheld? Just set it so the rev limtier is at like 3500 RPM.

Bad idea on the bypass, just leave that alone. You don't want him running around all week with the pipping after the cooler open and sucking in air.,

Set the Rev limiter with a tuner, ghetto rigging a boosted motor is a bad idea....

I let my Dad drive mine whenever he wants. He and Mom drove it home to their place Sat. night and drove it to church Sunday. My dad has been driving for 30+ years longer than I have so I trust him. Besides that I got to rock his new 07 Denali.

The piping wouldnt be open, i would take the bov out and put a straight tube there so that the air from the charge pipe is still routing back into the intake. I know all that air is metered and needs to stay in circulation, i just figure if its always open its never makin boost.

He doesnt want his dad hitting boost because if he is into those old, heavy and slow muscle cars he might **** himself once he hits boost.
hah you have no clue what you're talking about there, do you know how much power those old "clunkers" had with that bigass engine of old times, N/A?
